Thin dissapating white head, weak aroma of wheat. Very subtle taste of spice. This won't break any record. Probably one of the weakest beer from Cheval Blanc.

Pourred a ruby-ish brew with a nice head that left my glass way too soon. Wheat taste is apparent but not present enough for my liking. Also, I find that the body is bit shallow/thin for weizen. Seen better from Cheval Blanc but A+ for good cause.

Pourred a dark brown brew with a reasonable haed that stayed for a short while. Usual Cheval Blanc malt taste with a small maple syrup touch in the background. A little bit of smoke. Not too bad and A+ for trying to do something different.

This is my first schwarzbier so I don't have much to compare it too. Dark brew with a nice head. Roasted coffee taste. Light and very pleasant bitterness at the end. I would drink this again.

Clear golden colour with a nice dense white head. Good aroma, fairly sweet malty smells with a slight metallic twang and a tiny bit of hops. Light to Medium-bodied; Fairly strong maltiness with a bit of sweetness and a touch of hops. Overall, a decent beer, nothing special though! I sampled this beer at Joey_Capps' on 13-September-2003 in Hamilton, Ontario.

Amber style beer with a good head. Lack of spice or aftertaste. A bit too bland for my liking...

Golden color beer witha nice head when pourred into glass. Aroma of spice are really present and very tasteful. The alcohol is well hidden and overall this is another very refreshing beer from Cheval Blanc Re-rate 2008- Slightly hazy with good mix of spices. Well done and something like to drink from time to time.

Usual yeast Cheval Blanc flavor which is a good thing. A bit of lemon in this nice white colored brew. Very refreshing, not too bad for a style (Belgian White) that seems to go out of favour with brewer...

Orangey-brown. Toffee malts and dark fruits in the aroma. Body is similar, but with added leafy, twiggy notes.
