Description

On tap at Benelux, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some mild barnyard funk and hay. Flavour features lots of barnyard funk, very wild, moderate yeast showing, finishing quite yeasty and less wild than initially. Medium carbonation. Solid saison.

On tap at Benelux, pours a cloudy orange with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, some musty scents and some weird grains. Flavour of wheat, toasted nuts, some musty notes and slight sweetness. Drinks easy enough, but no so interesting and without much character.

On tap at Benelux, pours a dark amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma of light toasted malt and toasted nuts - not a whole lot going on . Flavour is the same, with a somewhat metallic finish. Not much hop presence. Boring and a bit stale tasting. Not so good.

On tap at Benelux, pours a clear golden / blonde with a small white head. Aroma is almost non-existent, just a bit of Belgian yeast and biscuity malt. Flavour is pretty bland, with Belgian yeast and cereal. Very easy drinking, but quite boring.

7.9/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
On tap at Benelux, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma of pungent resinous hops, some tropical fruits and sufficient caramel malt backing. Flavour is quite wild and funky for an IPA, with horse blanket, herbally hops, some grapefruit peel, and enough mat simply to back. Very pleasant bitterness and funk that linger. An atypical wild and funky, but also unmistakeable, IPA. Excellent stuff.

On tap at Benelux, pours black with an amber tinge and a small tan / light brown head - nice lacing. Aroma of mild roast character, slight burnt rubber notes and tar. Flavour is quite metallic, with prominent burnt / roasted notes, rubber and tar again. Rather thin and metallic mouthfeel. Drinkable, but off the mark.

On tap at Benelux, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma is very subtle, with only some mild grassy hops coming through. Flavour is clean and crisp, with a grassy hop bite and some biscuity malt to balance. I prefer more bite in my pils, but this does the job nicely.
