Bottle. Deep chestnut color, with foamy beige head. Aroma is smoke. Taste is smokey, brown roasted malt, caramel, some dusty note. Soft carbonation, a bit short the aftertaste but still a nice beer.

Tap at Klosterbräu. Dark, cappuccino head. Coffee, roasted, milk, deep, bread. This is so light and fluffy, it tastes like nitro tapped. Coffee, cream, chocolate, this is so lovely. A tad too sweet.

Tap at Klosterbräu. Clear brown amber. Sour bread. Metallic, front heavy. Sticky, buttery mouthfeel. Roasted toasted bread. Fresh.

Auburn with a frothy, beige head. Aroma promises woodsmoke, grilled meats, chocolate. Taste is bitter with both a sharpness and a hint of ash on the tongue at the end. Body to the light side of medium, mild carbonation, oily, smooth. A good Rauchbier.

Helder amberkleurig bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is licht bitterzoet met iets van karamel, wat geroosterd brood en zwarte bessen. Heel goed.

Donkerbruin tot zwart bier met beige schuimkraag die snel wegzakt. Smaak is bitterzoet met iets van karamel, wat chocolade en wat koffie. Een heel lichte rooksmaak en fris fruitige bijsmaak maakt het helemaal af. Heel erg goed.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy solid beige head, stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice gentle smoky character, almost sweet impression, good roasted malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: good smoky start, pretty roasted, mocha and coffee notes, a bit malty, more smoke, pretty bitter as well, some caramel. Aftertaste: roasted, smoky, bitter, malty, dark chocolate, nice one!

Clear deep copper orange to maroon beer, solid creamy beige head, pretty stable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, caramel, a bit yeasty, grains, a little metallic, some biscuits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: nice malty start, some caramel, gentle bitterness, grains, herbal, a bit spicy, nice. Aftertaste: malty, grains, hay, some citrus, slightly sourish, bitter, hoppy finish.
