500ml bottle direct from the brewery and drunk at home. Ruddy brown and clear with a ring of off-white head. Light oaky notes in the aroma, some toffee and citrus zest. Bittersweet taste with a delicious tang just before the drying finish. Body is a bit watery even for the style. Medium to low carbonation. A pretty good bitter.

500ml bottle bought from the brewery and drunk at home. The beer is dark brown, only slightly translucent, with a very thin ring of beige head. Aroma gives chocolate, light grassy and lavender notes, paper, a little bit of vinegar and possibly some sweet spice. Interesting. Sweet taste with the chocolate prominent and some gentle grassy flavour. Some bitterness in the finish. Lavender and maybe some coriander join the chocolate in the aftertaste. Odd, certainly not what I was expecting, but a good beer.

500ml bottle delivered from the brewery and drunk at home. Dark gold, clear with a tiny ring of white head. Apple and pink grapefruit in the aroma sitting alongside light notes of toffee. Balanced taste, noticeably malt-led with an astringent in the finish. More apple and some tannic iced tea in the aftertaste. Soft to medium carbonation. A little bit messy, and not very hop-forward, but refreshing enough on a hot summer night.

330ml bottle from the brewery, drunk at home. Light to mid reddish-brown, translucent with a thin beige head. Spicy aroma with toffee, chocolate and a bit of cheese. Odd. Bittersweet taste, a long bitter finish, some soap. It's got none of the pine or citrus notes I like in a black IPA. It's a tolerable drink bit not sure I'd rush out to buy another.

500ml bottle as part of the brewery, drunk at home. Mid-golen and clear with a ring of white head. Light notes of hay and marmalade in the aroma. Nicely balanced taste, some bitterness in the finish with a little bit of orange peel. Medium carbonation. Not all that much here when all is said and done, but it is a pleasant and well-put-together golden beer.

500ml bottle delivered from the brewery and drunk at home. Mid- to dark gold, clear with very little head. Light grassy aroma, some papery notes and a hint of hard citrus. The taste is more engaging: Sweet with gentle woody notes, leading to a drier finish. Soft but present carbonation. Not a bad pilsner at all.

330ml bottle as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Dark gold, mostly clear, with a tiny ring of whitish head. Some dried coconut, savoury cooking herbs, spiced orange peel. Bittersweet and incredibly spicy as befits the hop, with caramel and orange notes in the finish. Carbonation is really soft, which works for this beer but I didn't expect it.

Bottle from Stori. Appearance - deep brown with maybe a hint of red. Off-white, thin head. Nose - brown sugar going into toffee. Taste - toffee, toffee, toffee. Palate - medium bodied, sweet middle and finish. A bit cloying. Overall - a bit sweeter than Dubbel should be but somewhat missing in the Belgian yeast tang that you'd hope for.

Bottle from Stori, deliberately not shared with allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden amber with a quickly disappearing head. Nose - honey and caramel. Taste - luscious honey. Palate - medium bodied, creamy sweet middle and a sweet finish. Overall - this was quite mead-like.
