Can. Costco Advent 2021 - #6 A- Corn, slightly sweet, rolls. A- Golden orange color, clear liquid, white head. T- Sweet breads, doughy, corn. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Not too bad. Better ice cold but didn't become astringent at any point. Lots of sweet raw bread dough. Good enough.

500 ml from the Costco Advent calendar. Aroma is doughy, grassy, lemony. Pours slightly hazy golden with a thick cream-white head with excellent retention. Taste is sweet with a lightly bitter edge, finishing slightly dry.

Day 6 from the Costco Advent Calendar. It pours hazy golden / blonde with a thick, dense white head. The aroma is floury bread, doughy, biscuit, custard creams, rivita and leafy vibes. The taste is firmly dry, some pleasing grassy bitterness, leafy, floury bread, cracker, hay, soft underlying sweetness, custard creams, straw and hint of spice. Firmly dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice fresh feel to it. Favourite so far.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some white head. Nose has corn and candy, yeast, sweet dough. Flavors are corn and grist mostly, a little doughy. Off dry finish.

16oz can at the DC post-Thanksgiving 2021 gathering. Poured a clear yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was very plain. Light sweetness. Pleasant grassy notes. Sweet finish. Purchased at Lidl in their Advent Calendar.

Can, Aldi. Just unclear gold with an inch of white head that fades quickly. Aroma of bread and grass, some herbs. Sweet and a bit yeasty with pretty gentle grassy/ herbal bitterness. A decent and cheery quaffer.

Can 6 from the CostCo 2021 Advent box from the Woodland, CA CostCo. Pours gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma of mild toffee malt with grass notes. Med body. Flavor is mild toffee/malt with spice/citrus/grass. Tasty.

Nicht sehr dunkel für ein dunkles Weizen gefärbt. Fängt mit einer schönen Süße an, malzig, mit gekochten Früchten und Spuren von Toastwaffeln. Kurz nach dem Mittelteil beginnt es dann aber vergleichsweise bitter auszulaufen. Den Alkohol schmeckt man. Der Alkoholgehalt ist mit 5,6 % für ein normales Weißbier aber auch eher im oberen Bereich angesiedelt. Interessant und schmackhaft. Vielleicht ein Hauch zu viel Kohlensäure für ein Bier dieser Prägung.
