Nitro tin. Poured amber with thick foamy white. jead. New mown hay and malty aroma. Smooth flavour, sweet creamy malt, but with an unpleasant salad note at the end. Flat finish, with more vegetable notes. Only ordinary. There are better ales.

On tap Bury St. Edmunds, England. Pours light/lightly amber in color into the pint glass. Looks almost like a Guinness with it’s extremely frothy head. Taste is rather dull, light bitterness and creamy mouthfeel. I wouldn’t search this out but I’m not upset I gave it a go.

Nitro can. Pour is a nitro bubbled mess at first, but it’s kind of fun to sit and watch it clear up. Eventually,it turns into the color of a tanished penny with a dense, but small beige head. Aromas are apple juice and caramel malt dominated with a touch of additional fruit. Flavor is heavy on the nuts with a decidedly bitter finish to it... The aromas sure didn’t foreshadow the plot twists very well for me. Still, things are pleasant enough.

Bottle. BB July 08. Dark ruby color with a big beige head. Aroma has lots of malt, some portwine notes, caramel and dark fruits and a bit of alcohol. A sweet malty flavor with brown sugar, some caramel, slightly spicy fruitiness, wood notes and an alcoholic edge. Finishes drier with light acidic roastiness. Medium-bodied. A decent beer, just doesn’t do it for me and I can’t really find any great aspect to this beer. Still quite drinkable.

Bottle. Clear copper-amber color with a medium beige head that disappears quite fast. Aroma of hops, slightly earthy, with fruits, light citrus and some malt with biscuit hints. Flavor begins sweetish and malty with a bit of caramel and some fruitiness and finishes hoppy with a rather strong bitterness and light metallic notes. Light-medium body. Quite nice.
