A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grassy hops, lactic acid, light cork, light Brett, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light peppery character, light fruity esters, light Brett, light buttery notes, very nice and smooth. Bottle at mondiale 2024.

8-4-8-4-16 On tap @ Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà, Roma. Pours cloudy golden, with a creamy head. Aroma is tart fruity notes of plums, berries, funky farmhouse and bretty notes of apples as well as leather, tannins and wooden barrels. Full body, with average carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes of hay, plums, wine grapes, farmhouse and bretty notes of berries, as well as tannins and wooden barrels. Semi dry finish.

Ma Che draught, 5/13/24. Gentle haze. Bright brass. Small, white head. Beautiful yarrow. Soft and well-expressed. Reminds somewhat of Wunderkammer. Juicy, malty, no punchy acidity. Clean. Flavorful, malty, juicy, not too bitter/dry on account of the yarrow. Very elegant. Classy and super balanced.

Ma Che draught, 5/12/24. Clear, maybe a hint of haze. Wispy, white head. Nose is initially light gorgonzola! Softening with breathing to soft, fruity, juicy peach and mild Brett, backed by round malts. No booze, moderate acidity. Juicy, fruity, so soft, great Brett and incredible peach expression. Reminds of the apricot expression in Fou. Malty, wheaty, dry, clean, balanced acidity.

Tasting @Luppolo Station (Rome). Rossastra intensa, schiuma bianco sporca leggera. Al naso sentori di stalla, frutta rossa, leggero vinoso. In bocca è molto morbida, con acidità contenuta, fruttata, leggermente vinosa. Corpo leggero, carbonazione soft. Molto gradevole, anche se al naso non è pulitissima.

Bottle: Poured a golden color ale with a large white foamy head with limited retention and some light lacing. Aroma of funky barnyard notes with some oak and tartness. Taste is a mix of barnyard yeast notes with some funky notes, some tart notes and light acidic notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Interesting sour but lacks some attenuation.

Bottle: Poured a mostly flat and slightly hazy yellow color ale. Aroma of funky ester with some light pear/apple notes and some tart notes. Taste is also a mix of pear and apple notes with some tart notes and funky barnyard notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable sour but not sure fruit notes came out as much as I was expecting them to.

Bottle, tasting @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, velata, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note da gueuze, vinosa, balsamica, ottima. In bocca è forse un poco timida, ma interessante e dal sicuro avvenire, acida media, vinosa, un po' corta. Corpo medio-leggero carbonazione media. Non male.
