Pint at Craftys in Letchworth. Not the best pint and a bit too warm for a lager which impacted on the taste. This is a standard lager, not much taste and very simple.

Clear, golden, with a small white head. Malty, lemony aroma. Pleasant malty flavour, with a touch of grass and lemon. Medium-bodied, dry, with a herbal-metallic bitterness. An average light lager, but without flaws, there's nothing to complain about.

Keg at The Oyster Shed, City. Clear copper gold. Foamy white head. Aroma is sweet. Malts. Honey. Slightly bitter edge. Flavourwise it's similar. Sweet honey and dough. Light. Thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Helles-esque. Not bad.

330ml bottle bought at a tourist shop in Bourton-on-the Water, Cotswold. Shared with Finn. Pours a bubbly chalk white head leaving spotty lacing behind, next-to-clear amber-gold body. Inviting aromas of grassy hops and grainy malts. Rather rich taste character with moments of green hops, grass, and mid-sweet malts followed by leafy hop bitterness to the ending. Like it. (Tromsø, 07.06.2025).

Bottle at home picked up from sainsbury. A crystal clear mid gold coloured pour with a a lasting pure white froth. Aroma is nice bready grains, leafy hop, light grass, herbal notes, some alcohol. Little sweet custard note on the nose. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, apple custard, dusty grains, light spicy hop finish. Palate is semi crisp, dusty, moderate carbonation.
