A dark brown ale with a thick moka head. An intense mix of dark fruits, fruity esters, cinnamon, ginger and warming alcohol. In mouth, a very sweet candy sugar, with nice hopping, loads of spices, cinnamon, ginger, licorice, nice winter warmer, in the league with Gouden Carolus Noel, Guden Drak, and others. Perfect x-mas ale. Also served mulled in a scotch snifter. On tap at brewpub Nov. 30 2009.

In mouth, an intense hoppy barley wine with rather smooth British herbal hops, light grapefruits, a bit of warming alcohol, closer to a I2PA. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 3 2009.

On tap at the brewpub: Poured an orangey color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of fruity ester and light spicy yeast is interesting. Taste is a nice mix between some Belgian style malt with good notes of fruity ester and some light spicy yeast notes at the end. Body is full for style with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well done for early stage of the brewpub and something I will revisit again.

On tap at the brewpub: Poured a light dark color stout with a small foamy head. Aroma of light dry coffee and very subtle roasted malt notes. Taste is also dominated by some light dry coffee notes and roasted malt which is pleasant but body is too thin for the style. Not bad but fuller body would have provided more enjoyment. Still early in the life of this brewpub so I will make sure to revisit at some point.

Glass, 16-ounce, draught, at Les brasseurs du temps on May 29 2009; looks orangey with a caramel hue, turbid, no effervescence, tiny ring of white head; smells of wheat, acidity, coriander, light banana; tastes of wheat, mild acidity, tiny splash of caramel, light banana, finale in wheat with presence of coriander and light pepper, average carbonation, slightly sweet

On tap at the brewpub: Medium copper color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of medium bitter hops with subtle floral aroma. Taste is a nice enough mix between some caramel malt with a finish that includes dry and slightly bitter notes. I though body was also a bit thin on this one with some good carbonation. Not bad though a bit more hop in the profile would have benefited this one.
