Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, fruits, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, chocolate, rye, fruits, and a bit of spice, leading to a dry roasted finish. I wonder how many of the 96 yeast strains used has added significantly the the beer - definately some of them, but I don’t think 96 makes sense, but A for effort (or having a yeast bank)

Tap at the brewpub. Pours very dark brown/black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of chocolate and creamy dark malt. Near full bodied. Flavor is chocolate, dark malt and hop. It’s well towards dry and quite bitter. For me there’s a slight sour mash aspect. Chocolate goes quite earthy in the finish.

Bottle pour split at Matt’s. Glad we cleared up this major curiosity on whether this was an imperial stout or not. Pours a reddish bronze (first clue) with a patchy fizz head. Aroma is slightly sour but the flavor doesn’t agree. Maybe comes in late. New style to me, but an enjoyable beer.
