Hazy golden pour, big, frothy white head. Very yeasty aroma, lots of tropical fruit, some alcohol too. Very lively carb, very full mouth feel. Finish is lightly bittter with a subtle sweetness. More tropical fruit, lots of yeast and bready cereals. A well rounded example of the style.

750ml bottle from the LCBO.
bright, golden pour, with a big bubble white head.
big fresh grassy hop aroma with some good cereals. Great carbonation, solid mouth feel. Wonderful malty, cereal finish, with a good amount of bitterness. light peppery notes, with the sharp grassy hops, and touches of funk. nice saison.

Hazy copper, sticky beige head. Caramel malts, and very earthy, grassy hops. The malts are sweet and biscuity, with light notes of pine. The booze comes through a bit in the end. Finish is quite bitter, and floral. Light lemon zest, and oranges. Interesting hop.

Cask days 2011. Great looking beer, jet black, mocha head. Super dark roasted malts, light wood, vanilla, and light bourbon. As the beer warms it gets quite boozier. Sweet roasted malt finish, slightly boozy, some lingering espresso. Nice stuff, but a little rough around the edges.

Hazy copper, small beige head. Light pine resins, spice and cereal grains. Light to medium bitterness, light spicy finish with solid slightly sweet malts. The hops are quite muted and faint, a little resins, mostly earthy spices.

Ive figured out what type of hop it is! Its the boring hop. Very little aroma, very very light citrus, and thats about it. Sweet flavor, and a very bitter finish. There really wasnt much to this other than a touch of citrus followed by some bitterness.

Nice citrus nose, and some floral honey. A little grassy and lots of very sweet malts. Quite bitter, but almost cloyingly sweet, and quite boozy.

Sweet spicy hop aroma. A little too sweet for my liking, but there is a good bitter finish. The simcoe double was better. This one is good but I would consider it an ipa not a double.

listed as Biere de Saison at the brewpub. Dark amber pour with a sticky bubbly beige head. Aroma of hops, citrus, some grapefruit, and some sweet lemon. Flavor is nice, but very sweet, and thick. Some nice citrucy notes, but man this is a thick beer. It seems quite heavy, but the hops are not large enough for a DIPA. i would call this a heavy IPA.

on tap at the brewpub. Clear amber pour with a good amount of head. Aroma of caramel malts, and some grains. Flavor was full bodied, and had more of the caramel malts with some subtle hops in the finish, a solid lager.
