Bardzo przyjemny w smaku. Kolor pomarańczowy dość łagodny smak jak na ten styl, zapewne przez beczkę. Ogólne dobre piwo.

On tap at bar hop. Finally able to try this without dropping $50 for a bottle. Cloudy dark beige pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is very bready and yeasty. Lots of overly ripe fruit, yeast, and some boozy barrel. Mouth feel is full, carb is very soft. Low to medium bitterness. As it warms the base belgian beer comes through, loads of yeasty esters and more ripe fruit. The barrel also comes to thr fore front, with a lot of boozy, woody, barrel, light vanilla, and some musty apples. The brandy barrel gives a strong sweetness to the beer also. Complex, but does not lend itself to a warm sunny July afternoon.

Tap at le pub chez gibb. Clear yellow pour, no head. Upfront yeasty, fruity aroma with a slap in the face of alcohol, and some slightly sour malts. Thick, moily mouth feel, no carb. Finish is slightly sour, fruit is gone, mealy cereals, huge yeast notes, and alot of booze!

Cask days 2015. Tangy aroma, apple , tropical fruit, earthy hops, and some subtle lactic sourness. Finish was funky, lots of overly ripe tropical fruit, some odd phenols, some sour yeast. This seemed to go off the rails, lactic notes got very sour and off putting. I wonder if i got the bottom of the cask or something.

Tap at Volo. Description in the chalk board claims this is a Belgian wit. Hazy yellow pour, with a large, pillowy head. Aroma is quite dominates by coriander and lemon zest, with some yeasty esters. Mouth feel. Is a tad thin, but the carb is perfect. Finish as alot of banana esters and some nice cereals with a dry semi butter finish. Interesting. Kinda a wit/saison hybrid.

Trou du diable booth at the mondiale 2014. Not sure this requires a different entry, i thought this was just a collaboration, not two different beers. Anyways....quite the same as the ddc beer. A nice combo of two styles. Some nice citrus and wheat from the wit, and the pils brings some great cereal and grassy notes. Together they make for a very refreshing, zesty quaff.

Very interesting hop variety to try, i cant say ive had it very often if at all. Light tropical fruit aroma, with some pear, and apple. Carbis average and same for the mouth feel. Finish is semi sweet, the malts really come through. The hops are still tropical fruit and slightly tangy. Medium bitterness, and an odd wet paper fruity ending.

Tap at the saint bock in montreal. Light amber pour, fluffy white head. Spicy aroma, big notes of bitter tea, grass, and some hay. The tea is very notes are very prominent and really dominate the beer. The finish is medium bitter with a very green ending to it. Lots of green hops, grasses and herbs. The spice comes through at the end and leaves a little herbacious tea after taste. Quite interesting beer.
