Amber with a fleeting, foamy head and visible floaters. Yeasty aroma, peppercorns, metal. Taste is bitter with sweet undertones. Moderate bitter finish that trends both peppery and metallic. Lingering touch of apple tartness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Mediocre Tripel.

Bottle shared with Silke on our first night in St Alphonse. Black with a frothy, beige head of moderate duration. Aroma of roasted grains, licorice, and a whisp of berry jam. Taste is mildly sweet up front, bittersweet at the back with the roast and licorice nicely intertwined. Medium bodied, smooth, mild carbonation. Good one.

Gold with a frothy head. A thin haze of floaters. Interesting aroma mixes spice with citrus and plums. Taste is mildly bitter the whole way through. Body to the light side of medium, mildly watery texture. Ok.

Bottle shared by tfontana, thank you Tom. Aroma is chocolate with Belgian type yeast. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a steady amount of peated malt and a touch of smoke. Not my favorite flavor profile.

Bottle pour from Liquor Junction, Reading. Opaque dark brown with creamy ring of head and splotchy lacing. Aroma is roasty/woody/earthy/peat. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Not what I would call classic for the style but definitive in its own way and enjoyable.

Tap at Hopa. Classic piney, dank and citrusy IPA just as I like it. Not overcomplicated, but pretty decent.

750 ml bottle served me as a special treat during my companies Christmas party @ Kombinat December 2018. Slightly unclear golden body with a moderate sized white head. Very nice and smooth funky aroma with citric fruit, apple cider, yeast and fynky wood. Flavor is smooth, funky, mild but distinct acidic and rather complex – still with high drinkability. Fine balanced body, balanced all over actually including a nice, tart finish. Delicious.

Tap @ Cafe Sara. Unclear golden body with a small, lacing white head. Nice funky aroma with acidic berries, Brett, hint of dry cider and faint vanilla. Flavor is extremely refreshing, light pale malt, acidic berries, yellow citric fruit, some lemon and funky lambic. Balanced body and smooth refreshing aftertaste. Nice one.
