750 ml share thanks to Adamchandler. Nose of oak, chocolate and dirty socks. Not sure how old the bottle is but it has a sourness that doesn’t belong. Oak, funky red wine and sour.

600ml bottle that pours a cloudy golden-orange colour with lots of sediments. The head is frothy, fairly white, with good retention and thick foamy-soapy lacing. Aromas are a nice blend of citrus peel, juices, oats and herbal hints. The mouthfeel is juicy with an ending light dryness, and tart left on the tongue. Flavours of lemon peel, orange juice and mild grassiness. Alcohol is well-hidden, and some bitterness shows up quickly, here and there. Quite an easy-drinking Double NEIPA all-around.

On tap. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a medium, short lived, white head that laces. Aroma of crackery pale malt, Belgian yeast, orange peel, peach and floral hops. Flavour of crackery pale malt, Belgian yeast, grapefruit, black pepper and piney hops in a dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad, but a little overrated.

Decent tripel. Pretty boozy, less refined or fragrant than the best.

Poured from the tap. Hazy pale gold with small white head. Tropical hops, light dankness, slightly watery (wondering if that’s a bar issue though). Decent.
