750ml bottle Friday night from whole foods midtown east. Pours orang gold white head. Nose is yeasty and spicy. Tastes super yeasty, with some hops, apples, lemon, leaves, and pepper. Decent and different.

Bottle. Wood smoke, lactic acid and malt aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet lactic lemon and smoked malt flavor. Nice body. Absolutely delicious.

Hopfenstark at its best. Doing funky barnyard style saisons, and this is no exception. Cloudy orange with ok lacing, no head. Some fruity funk Sweet malt aroma. Soft carbonation. Nice dose of tang and almost minty hops on finish. Tap at Montreal brewpub on opening night.

Black with ok head and lacing. Thick texture. Some musk and roast malt in aroma. Not a huge imperial stout - overall taste is a little light. Lacks character. A bit on the sweet side. Mocha head, soft carbonation. Black pour. On tap at Montreal brewpub on opening night.

A little syrupy. Not exactly what I like in a Baltic Porter. Pours dark clear brown with a little initial lacing and head. Finishes a little sweet. Taste is generally sweet, with some light roast malt here. Tap at brewpub on Montreal opening.

Very light, well-balanced but not super interesting. Cloudy blonde with decent head and lacing. Everything is good and comes together well here, they just need to amp up the overall feel. Tap at Montreal brewpub on opening night.

Nice cloudy orange pour here. Soft, light carbonation. Booze, sweet malt and some florals. Light lacing and some head. On the light side of the Belgian Strongs, if that makes sense to anyone. Tap at opening night at Montreal brewpub.

Amber with good head and lacing. Nice dose of slight funk in aroma with some noble type hops. Decent for style, certainly. On tap at brewpub in Montreal, opening night.

Not exactly a typical blonde beer. Pours golden with ok lacing, some head. Some interesting helles-like aroma in malt. Finishes with light sweet malt. Average carbonation. Very grainy. Tap at new brewpub.

Decent wit. Pours pale blonde, not much head or lacing. Slightly sour. Soft carbonation. Light overall, well-balanced but not super exciting. Just an average witbier. Tap at Vices et Versa.
