Bottle from the Elsfleth Hol-Ab. Deep amber with a fleeting, foamy head. Aroma is mostly that of rum. Mild oak and vanilla undertones. Taste is mildly sweet with a touch of vanilla at the end. The experience is largely ruined though by the excessive carbonation. Letting it have a long sit in the glass helps. Promising but needs fixing.

0,33 l bottle from my local Hol´Ab! market around the corner. Listed with 8.5 abv. Unclear dark golden, two finger head, surprisingly lively carbonation. Woody rum smell, little bit perfumed. Taste starts with a medical herb sweetness, some wet wood, caramel. Rum in the middle part. Okay.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts malty, spicy, light alcoholic. Some woody notes. Background with some herbal hints. Finish could be more balanced. Still okay.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange amber, off-white head. Aroma: Sweetish, subtle caramel, spicy and Rum. Taste: Smooth, malty, over moderate sweet, slightly sour and spicy, very subtle Rum. A little more Rum at the finish but still quite subtle. Very light bitterness. Bit watery, below medium body. Just below average carbonation. Not much going on. Mwah.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy amber, large frothy white head. Aroma: Malt, hop, spicy and citrus hints. Taste: Very malty, some wheat malt, some grain. Moderate sweet, light bitterness and light to moderate sour. Hints of spices and hints of orange and tangerine. Below medium body, jist below average carbonation. Watery. Short and slightly metallic finish. Not much to do with Farmhouse. Mwah...

330ml bottle [slight gusher]. Cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with average, frothy to macropore, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cereal and fruity aroma with a muesli touch, notes of red and yellow apple, very weak BA overtones, some nutty overtones as well. Taste is sweet-ish, grainy malty, slighly fruity, hints of red and yellow apple, some lemon, a muesli touch, avery weak BA touch with hints of oak, caramel and vanilla, minimally waxy overtones, some fruit acidic tartness. Watery texture, prickly carbonation. Somehow like a racing car starting from the box. Could be great with lower carbonation and a more powerful basic beer, BA should be intensified as well. The composition as such is very harmonious and balanced, apple, caramel and oak are a perfect match - a promising starting point with high potential.

0,33 l bottle from my local Hol´Ab! market. Golden in the glass, little unclear with an surprising nearly one finger white head. Low whisky smell. Strange taste, low whiskey, little bit apple and pale grain. Way higher carbonated than expected. Thin texture. Can not really convince.
